Prefer this over account creation endpoints when the mailbox already exists and the goal is specifically to configure recovery options. This is the right endpoint when the user has mailbox credentials and wants to establish an external (non-cusethejuice-hosted) fallback email for password recovery.
Side effects
- Invalid credentials (wrong email/password/username) returns authentication error
- Recovery email is on a hosted cusethejuice domain, which is not permitted
- Malformed email address format for either email or recovery_email field
