Use this endpoint when a mailbox user has already initiated an account recovery (obtained a recovery_code) and needs to finalize the process by setting a new password. This is the completion step of a two-step recovery flow, not the initiation step. Choose this when the agent has both the recovery_code and desired new_password ready to submit together.
