Use this endpoint when an agent needs to permanently remove a custom Maildir folder (non-system) from a CuseTheJuice mailbox. Prefer this over generic IMAP folder deletion when operating within the CuseTheJuice x402-payment ecosystem. Do not use for deleting individual messages (use the message delete endpoint) or for listing/moving messages.
Side effects
- Invalid credentials (wrong email, username, or password) result in authentication failure
- Attempting to delete a system folder (e.g. INBOX, Sent, Drafts) is rejected
- Folder name does not exist in the mailbox returns not-found error
- Missing required fields in the JSON body result in a validation error
- Payment failure via x402 prevents the request from being processed
