Particle Pro – List Speakers in Episode

Use this endpoint when you need to know who spoke in a specific podcast episode and in what capacity (host, guest, advertiser, etc.), especially when speaking duration per person matters. Prefer this over the transcript endpoint when you only need speaker metadata without the full text. It is the right choice for audience research, sponsor analytics, guest tracking, and media monitoring workflows focused on participant identity rather than content.

• Episode ID not found — 404 error returned if the slug or ID does not match any episode
• Invalid role filter value — unknown role strings may return empty results or a validation error
• Pagination cursor expired or malformed — may return an error or restart from the beginning
• No speakers detected — episode may return an empty list if diarization found no identifiable speakers
• Rate limit or payment failure — x402 payment required per call; insufficient funds or expired token causes rejection
