Use this endpoint when you already have an existing chart that needs modification based on user feedback or refinement requests. Prefer this over the Create or Visualize endpoints when the user wants to iterate on an existing visualization rather than generate a new one from scratch.
Side effects
- Invalid or missing chart reference — cannot find the chart to edit
- Natural language prompt too ambiguous to interpret — returns error or unchanged chart
- Requested chart type not supported — returns error
- Network timeout on chart rendering
- Payment failure — 402 response if USDC payment not attached
