Use this endpoint when you need to query, filter, or audit existing shift records within a ZenSched organization. Prefer it over creating or modifying shifts — it is read-only and safe for reporting, payroll reconciliation, attendance monitoring, and status dashboards.
Side effects
- Invalid date format (not YYYY-MM-DD) causes a validation error
- Unknown status value outside allowed enum returns an error
- Non-existent event_id or worker_id returns an empty list or 404
- Payment failure (insufficient USDC balance) blocks the call
- Org not provisioned if this is a first-time caller with no wallet attached
