How this service works
ISIN ↔ LEI mapping (GLEIF, live, CC0). Two modes: pass lei to list every ISIN (security identifier) issued by that entity; or pass isin to resolve the issuer's LEI (with legal name, jurisdiction, country). Bridges securities to their legal-entity issuers for finance, compliance, and reference-data joins — complements business.lei and business.lei-hierarchy.
Output
In ISIN mode: returns the issuer's LEI, legal name, jurisdiction, and country. In LEI mode: returns a list of ISINs (up to the specified limit, default 100, max 200) issued by that legal entity, sourced from GLEIF under CC0 license.

Use this endpoint when you need to bridge between securities identifiers (ISIN) and legal entity identifiers (LEI) using authoritative GLEIF data. Ideal for compliance workflows, reference data enrichment, regulatory reporting (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR), or any join between a securities database and a legal entity database. Complements LEI hierarchy and business entity endpoints on the same platform.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed ISIN returns an error or empty result
- Invalid or unknown LEI returns no ISINs
- Neither lei nor isin query param provided results in a bad request
- LEI exists but has no associated ISINs returns empty list
- ISIN not found in GLEIF mapping returns null issuer
- limit parameter out of range (< 1 or > 200) returns validation error
