Batch web search: up to 10 queries in one call ($0.004 per query, a third cheaper than single calls), each with its own optional category, country and time filter, run in parallel; the same authority-ranked results as /search. For agents that expand one task into many queries.
Output
A JSON object with a count field and a results array. Each element corresponds to one input query and contains the query string and its own results array of authority-ranked web results (URLs, titles, snippets), matching the same format as the single /search endpoint.

Choose this endpoint when an agent needs to execute multiple distinct web searches as part of a single task expansion — e.g. researching multiple competitors, topics, or keywords in parallel. It is roughly 33% cheaper per query than calling /search individually and runs all queries concurrently, making it ideal for any workflow that would otherwise chain sequential single-search calls. Prefer it over the single search endpoint whenever you have 2 or more queries to run in one agent step.
Side effects
- More than 10 queries submitted — request rejected
- numResults out of range (must be 1-10)
- Malformed query object missing required 'query' field
- Payment failure via x402 protocol — 402 response returned
- Rate limiting if too many concurrent batch calls
- Invalid country or category filter values — may return empty results or error
