How this service works
Convert an amount of a crypto asset to USD using the live Chainlink price on Base. Pass ?from=ETH&amount=1.5 (assets: ETH, BTC, SOL, LINK, CBETH, AERO, EUR). Returns the rate used, the feed and its age. Oracle value, not a tradable quote. No cache.
Output
Returns the USD equivalent of the requested amount, the exchange rate used, the specific Chainlink feed identifier on Base that was queried, and the age of the oracle data at request time. This is an oracle reference value, not a tradable quote, and is fetched fresh with no caching.

Side effects
