Live Chainlink price feed on Base, read from the oracle contract at request time: price, round id, last update and feed address. Pairs: ETH-USD, BTC-USD, SOL-USD, LINK-USD, CBETH-USD, AERO-USD, USDC-USD, EUR-USD. Pass ?pair=ETH-USD (default ETH-USD). No third-party API, no cache.

Returns a JSON object containing the current price, round ID, timestamp of the last oracle update, and the Chainlink feed contract address for the requested trading pair on Base mainnet. Data is read directly from the oracle contract with no caching.

Side effects
- Unsupported pair symbol returns an error — only ETH-USD, BTC-USD, SOL-USD, LINK-USD, CBETH-USD, AERO-USD, USDC-USD, EUR-USD are valid
- RPC connectivity issues to Base mainnet may cause a 502 or timeout
- Missing x402 payment header or insufficient USDC balance results in a 402 Payment Required response
