How this service works
The Night Watch. REQUIRES ?url= on the paid request — a signed request without it is refused before the gate and no money moves. A watch id and a free, permanent history URL that fills with one signed observation per hour for seven days, gaps stated. Full listing: https://scvd.store/menu/standing_watch. MCP tool: buy_standing_watch.
Output
Returns a watch ID, a permanent publicly accessible history URL that will accumulate one signed observation per hour for seven days (with gaps explicitly noted), and optionally a certificate and patron badge if an agent name was supplied.
Example use cases
Proving API uptime to a client
“I need to prove to a client that my x402 API at https://api.mybusiness.com/v1/pay stayed live for the past week — can you set up a Night Watch on it under the name 'MyBusiness API' and get me a permanent signed history URL I can send them?”
Monitoring a newly launched agent endpoint
“I just launched my agent endpoint at https://agents.myplatform.io/x402 — can you start a standing watch on it so I get a signed hourly observation log for the next seven days, any gaps included, under the name 'MyPlatform Agent'?”
Generating a verifiable availability record
“I want an independent verifiable record of whether my x402 endpoint at https://payments.devstudio.io/handle is responding each hour for seven days — set up a Night Watch on it and give me the history URL.”
Technical details
Endpoint
GEThttps://scvd.store/api/buy/standing_watch?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you need a trustworthy, third-party signed record of an x402 HTTPS endpoint's hourly availability over a seven-day window — especially when you need a permanent, shareable history URL with explicit gap reporting and cryptographic attestation rather than just internal monitoring logs.
Side effects
- URL points to scvd.store's own hostname — refused by policy
- URL is not a valid https URI — validation error
- URL is not reachable at registration time — may still be accepted but first observation will show a gap
- Payment of $5 USDC not completed — endpoint returns 402 and watch is not created
- Malformed input schema — 400 error
