Use this endpoint when you need to retrieve the full message history of a specific email thread within a known AgentMail inbox. Prefer this over listing all threads when you already have the thread_id and need complete thread context for processing, replying, or analyzing a conversation.
Side effects
- Invalid inbox_id returns 404 not found
- Invalid thread_id returns 404 not found
- Unauthorized access returns 401 or 403
- Thread belongs to a different inbox returns error
- Empty response if thread has no messages
- Rate limiting may return 429 too many requests
