Use this endpoint when you need to read or inspect a specific known email thread within an AgentMail pod — for example, to check replies, monitor a conversation, or extract message content from an ongoing agentic email workflow. Prefer this over listing all threads when you already have the thread_id.
Side effects
- Invalid pod_id returns 404 not found
- Invalid thread_id returns 404 not found
- Thread does not belong to the specified pod returns 403 or 404
- Missing required path parameters returns 400 bad request
- Unauthorized access returns 401
- Pod or thread has been deleted returns 404
