Side effects
- INVALID_INPUT: company number contains internal spaces, is whitespace-only, or exceeds 8 meaningful characters — rejected before payment
- Company not found: number is syntactically valid but does not exist in the Companies House register
- Network or upstream Companies House API unavailability causing timeout or 5xx error
- Payment failure via x402 protocol if USDC balance is insufficient
