Resolve a FOMO trader by public handle (the @name on FOMO, without @). Use when you have a handle and not a stored user id. Returns id, handle, name, bio, and verified solanaAddress/evmAddress. Persist id — handles can change. Do not pass a wallet or numeric id.
Output
Returns a user object containing the stable numeric user id, current handle, display name, bio, verified Solana address, and verified EVM address (0x-prefixed). The id is stable even if the handle changes and should be persisted for future calls.

Use this endpoint when you have a FOMO trader's public @handle (string username) but not their stable numeric user id. Once you obtain the id, persist it and use the id-based resolver for future lookups since handles can change. Do not use this endpoint if you already have a user id or a wallet address — use the appropriate sibling endpoints for those inputs.
Side effects
- Handle not found — returns 404 if no user exists with that handle
- Handle changed — handle may no longer point to the same user; use persisted id for stable lookups
- Passing a wallet address or numeric id instead of a handle will fail or return incorrect results
- Rate limit or payment failure — endpoint requires 0.1 USDC per call via x402 protocol
- User has no verified wallet — solanaAddress or evmAddress fields may be null if unverified
