Use this endpoint exclusively when you have an on-chain wallet address (Solana or 0x-prefixed EVM) and do not have the user's FOMO handle or stable user ID. Note this costs $0.20 per call vs $0.10 for handle/ID lookups — so prefer those cheaper endpoints whenever a handle or user ID is already available.
Side effects
- Wallet address not verified or not linked to any FOMO user — returns 404 or empty result
- EVM address missing the 0x prefix — will fail validation
- Malformed or invalid address format — returns error
- Address belongs to a contract rather than a user wallet — no match found
- Rate limiting or payment failure — returns 402 or 429
