How this service works
Resolve a FOMO trader by public handle (the @name on FOMO, without @). Use when you have a handle and not a stored user id. Returns id, handle, name, bio, and verified solanaAddress/evmAddress. Persist id — handles can change. Do not pass a wallet or numeric id.
Output
Returns a user profile object containing the stable numeric user id (persist this, not the handle), the current handle, display name, bio text, and verified solanaAddress and/or evmAddress if linked. Handles can change over time so the id is the durable identifier.

Use this endpoint when you have a FOMO trader's public @handle (text username) and need to resolve it to a stable user id or retrieve their verified wallet addresses. Prefer this over the wallet-based resolver when you only have a username, and prefer the id-based resolver for subsequent calls once you have persisted the id.
Side effects
- Handle not found — returns 4xx if the handle does not exist on FOMO
- Payment failure — x402 payment of 0.1 USDC required per call; invalid or missing payment returns 402
- Passing a wallet address or numeric id instead of a handle — endpoint only accepts text handles
- Handle changed — if the user renamed themselves since last known, the old handle may 404
