Resolve a FOMO trader by public handle (the @name on FOMO, without @). Use when you have a handle and not a stored user id. Returns id, handle, name, bio, and verified solanaAddress/evmAddress. Persist id — handles can change. Do not pass a wallet or numeric id.

Returns a JSON object containing the trader's stable numeric user ID, current handle, display name, bio text, and any verified Solana address and/or EVM (0x-prefixed) address linked to their FOMO account.

Use this endpoint when you have a FOMO trader's public @handle (not their numeric ID or wallet address) and need to resolve it to a stable user ID or retrieve their profile details. Prefer the stable-ID endpoint for repeat lookups once you have the ID, as handles can change. Use the wallet-resolution endpoint instead if you only have an on-chain address.
Side effects
- Handle not found — returns 404 if the @name does not exist or has been deleted
- Handle changed — if the user renamed, the old handle returns 404; cached IDs remain valid
- Passing a wallet address or numeric ID instead of a plain handle causes a lookup failure
- Rate limiting or payment failure may return 402 or 429 errors
- Unverified users may have null wallet address fields in the response
