How this service works
Store assets: Every Steam store and library capsule from one key art at the exact required sizes: logo composited per Steam rules, Library Hero without logo, separate transparent Library Logo, page background, a contact sheet and a ZIP. Full schema: https://rengi.dev/v1/store-assets/schema
Output
Returns every Steam store and library capsule at exact required sizes with the logo composited per Steam rules, a Library Hero without logo, a separate transparent Library Logo PNG, a page background (darkened by the specified dim amount), a contact sheet showing all assets, and a downloadable ZIP archive of the complete set.
Example use cases
Indie game Steam launch prep
“I'm launching my game on Steam next week and need all the required store images. Here's my key art and my transparent logo — can you generate all the Steam capsules, the Library Hero without the logo, a separate transparent logo image, and a ZIP of everything?”
Updating store page with new artwork
“I've rebranded my game and have new key art and a new logo. Please regenerate all my Steam store capsules and library images from this new key art, compositing the logo per Steam's rules, and dim the page background to 0.5.”
Steam asset pack for publisher review
“Can you take this key art and this transparent logo PNG and produce the full Steam asset pack — all capsule sizes, the Library Hero, the contact sheet, and a ZIP — so I can send it to my publisher for review?”

Endpoint
POSThttps://rengi.dev/v1/store-assets/steam?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you need to produce all official Steam store capsules and library images in one call from a single key art and logo. It is specifically tailored to Steam's exact size and compositing requirements (logo placement, Library Hero without logo, transparent logo export) rather than a generic image resizer. Use it over manual Photoshop workflows or generic image processing APIs when you want a complete, spec-compliant Steam asset pack automatically.
Side effects
- Key art too small (under ~1920px wide) causing low-resolution output
- Logo missing transparent background causing compositing artifacts
- Invalid base64 encoding of image inputs returning parse error
- Unsupported image format submitted (must be PNG, JPEG, or WebP)
- dimBackground value outside allowed 0–0.9 range returning validation error
- Network timeout on large image uploads
Input
Schema · Request body
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| logo | object | Game logo with a transparent background. Steam wants it on every capsule. |
| keyArt | object | Your main artwork, ideally without text, at least 1920 px wide. |
| heroArt | object | Artwork for the Library Hero with no logo or text; key art is used when omitted. |
| dimBackground | number | How much to darken the page background so text stays readable. |
